Hellboy II ..... In Theaters July 11, 2008

Hellboy II: The Golden Army reunites director Guillermo del Toro and stars Ron Perlman, Selma Blair, and Jeffrey Tambor.

With a signature blend of action, humor and character-based spectacle, the saga of the world's toughest, kitten-loving hero from Hell continues to unfold in "Hellboy II: The Golden Army." Bigger muscle, badder weapons and more ungodly villains arrive in an epic vision of imagination from Oscar®-nominated director Guillermo del Toro ("Pan's Labyrinth," "Hellboy").

After an ancient truce existing between humankind and the invisible realm of the fantastic is broken, hell on Earth is ready to erupt. A ruthless leader who treads the world above and the one below defies his bloodline and awakens an unstoppable army of creatures. Now, it's up to the planet's toughest, roughest superhero to battle the merciless dictator and his marauders. He may be red. He may be horned. He may be misunderstood. But when you need the job done right, it's time to call in Hellboy (Ron Perlman).

Along with his expanding team in the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Development--pyrokinetic girlfriend Liz (Selma Blair), aquatic empath Abe (Doug Jones) and protoplasmic mystic Johann--the BPRD will travel between the surface strata and the unseen magical one, where creatures of fantasy become corporeal. And Hellboy, a creature of two worlds who's accepted by neither, must choose between the life he knows and an unknown destiny that beckons him.

Hellboy & Corpse - 12 inch Bust

"The Hellboy and Corpse polystone bust depicts a determined Hellboy from the chest up, one arm carrying the Talking Corpse over his shoulder by a hangman's rope around its scrawny neck. The animated Corpse is sculpted with its rotting flesh hanging from its body, mouth open with teeth exposed and one long bony finger pointing the way. This dual character bust is a stunning sculptural combination of Spectral Motion's design for the Talking Corpse character and Hellboy [Designed by Rick Bakers Cinovation FX]. This limited edition bust is mounted on a stone base engraved with the B.P.R.D. logo.

The polystone busts and maquettes available from Sideshow Collectibles have been sculpted by the artists at Spectral Motion, based on their original designs for several pivotal characters appearing in the movie."

Blade vs. Drake -- Movie Clip

Use the following link if you have a problem with the above video.

Drake - Blade: Trinity -- Repost

"Drake is the creature from which all vampires originate. He is the only true pure vampire and as such has abilities greater than other vampires, including shape shifting and the ability to walk in the daylight. Sometime after 1,000 A.D., Drake went into hibernation, awakened by the modern day vampires of 2004 to aid them in their struggle against the Daywalker known as Blade."

"This intricate 1/4-Scale design maquette was crafted by the artists at Spectral Motion during the pre-production process for the film, Blade:Trinity. Standing 17.25-inches tall, the reawakened Drake is prepared for combat against the Daywalker, wearing a detail-rich, suit of reptilian-like armor complimented with rows of claw-shaped spikes adorning his shoulders, back and forearms. Drake wields a long sword with a handle made of human bone, and his sinister visage is well represented in the authentic portrait likeness of the sinister creature. Includes a glossy black display base with the artist's signature and edition size."

Niteman Speaks

Niteman's Recommendation:
I just received my Grid Alien from Hot Toys by way of Sideshow Collectibles. This figure is really awesome. Even though it is advertised as a model kit, there are only a few parts that snap together and then you're ready to go. Very easy! Also there are absolutely no twist ties on this figure at all. The packaging is excellent and has great graphics.

The figure is approximately 16 inches tall, contains many points of articulation which makes it fully poseable, a great to the touch silicone body, acid-blood 'grid'-pattern scars on its head, and even a little facehugger is included. Very kewl!!!

Originally, Hot Toys released this figure as an exclusive in Asia only, but because of their relationship with Sideshow, they have now made a few of them available to North America and Europe. So this one will be very rare to own. I would strongly recommend this collectible to any Alien/Predator fan for their own collection.
