An American Werewolf in London

AAWIL has to be one of my favorite modern horror movies of all time. It was written and directed by John Landis and released in 1981 after sitting on a back burner for 10 years. This movie is one of the scariest werewolf movies you'll ever see ... but still interjects humorous lines for comic relief.
"I will not be threatened by a walking meat loaf!"

The special effects were really ahead of its time for the 80's. Rick Baker's transformation sequence is excellent and still holds up even today.

I've seen this movie over 20 times and I'm still not tired of it. If you haven't yet taken the time to watch it, get the DVD tonight, turn out the lights and get ready for the ride of your life!

"Have you tried talking to a corpse? It's boring."
